Social Activities - Our Activity Department is designed to enhance the quality of life for residents and promote, as much as possible, their former lifestyles. Our activities are adapted to meet the individual needs and interest of our residents. We promote interactions and activities which create community, which encourage and stimulate, which celebrate life in all its moments of joy and difficulty, which offer daily life opportunities for meaning and purpose while encouraging our residents to give and teach, to participate and share. We also celebrate cultural events particular to Louisiana including Mardi Gras and the Yambilee Festival. In essence, we create moments of joy because we believe that –
